Student Transit Eau Claire is one of Wisconsin’s oldest providers of student transportation services. Student Transit serves the Eau Claire Area School District.

The Eau Claire Area School District is nearly 230 square miles serving nearly 12,000 students both public and private. There are 18 public schools consisting of 3 public middle schools and 2 public high schools. Also included are 11 private schools and a Montessori Charter school. With our fleet of approximately 92 busses we transport around 15,000 riders per day.

Bus route information for public Middle and High Schools will be mailed out to you the week of August 8th, 2008. If you have any questions after recieving the bus route information, please don't hesitate to call us. Also, please let us know about any address change, phone number change, new students, etc. as soon as possible. This will help eliminate some confusion during the hectic fall start up.

Heard at the Bus Stop
You probably noticed that a AM and PM suffix has been added to middle school and high school route numbers, eliminating two different route numbers for most students. The change was possible due to software updates allowing for alphanumeric routes. The change was implemented in the elementary routes last year with great success. Administrators, teachers, parents, and students were pleased with this change because it made routes easier to remember.
